Michael Mehlhoff
Michael is a United States Air Force veteran and served in the military as an Administration Specialist. After completing his military obligation, Michael entered the law enforcement profession and completed 19 weeks at the Montgomery Police Academy (Alabama) and spent over 28 years collectively as a Deputy Sheriff for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (Alabama) and a Police Officer for the City of Calera (Alabama).
Michael spent over five years in law enforcement as a detective investigating criminal activity which involved having to identify and track down both witnesses and suspects that were difficult to locate to further an investigation in order to obtain a conviction in a court of law.
Michael also spent over six years as a crime scene technician which involved having to document, collect, preserve, and analyze evidence while maintaining a chain of custody to properly admit into court proceedings.
Michael has received well over 100 hours of formal training in interview/interrogation techniques, over 100 hours of formal training in crime scene investigation, 56 hours of formal training in forensic photography, as well as over 80 hours of digital evidence recovery.
Additionally, Michael graduated from Columbia Southern University, Summa cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal justice Administration.
